The nasal clippers were Sherlock’s horrible attempt to find Martin a birthday/christmas present. Martin felt that having a semi-useless luxury item in his luggage made him seem more like a proper Captain.
Martin is Sherlock and Mycroft’s half brother, conceived during one of their father’s affairs. Martin doesn’t know that the man he calls his father had nothing to do with his conception, but raised him anyway. Sherlock and Mycroft keep their distance from Martin even after his “father’s” death, out of respect for that bond.
Martin refuses Mycroft’s offer of money because he always believed that he could do be a pilot and make his own income. That’s why he lives where he does.
I’m so terribly sorry for not updating this blog for the past few months. I’ve been bogged down by schoolwork. I’ve got a couple of submissions that I will have up by the weekend.
In other news, this blog has hit and passed the 100 follower mark!
[During The Reichenbach Fall] There was a fourth bullet. It was for Martin.
Sherlock is extremely protective of Martin. Every other day, he sends Martin a text message, just to check up on him.
